Pretzel Sparklers

We made 50+ of these fun and yummy Pretzels Sparklers to take with us to our annual 4th of July party at Shawn and Sharon's house. They were really easy to make and the mess was easy to clean up as well. I recommend you put out Wax paper or Freezer paper, which is what we used. It really helps make the clean up even easier and they need somewhere to dry.

Here we go!
The kids had a GREAT time helping and eating the results!

Ingredients:

  • 8 squares (1 ounce each) white baking chocolate
  • 1 package (10 ounces) pretzel rods
  • Colored candy stars or sprinkles

Directions:

In a microwave-safe bowl; melt chocolate at 70% power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip each pretzel rod about halfway into chocolate; allow excess to drip off. Sprinkle with stars. Place on waxed paper to dry.

Yield: about 2 dozen. (We doubled the recipe)

I found this wonderful recipe here!
