Cameron's first "dinner"

Tonight Cameron made us a meal that his step momma in El Paso makes when he visits them every summer. He is always bragging on how good the food is there so we are looking forward to giving a few of her recipes a try! This is also the first "dinner" he will have made us as a family. He has made dinner and lunch, but usually only Mac N Cheese or sandwiches and things that he can put in the microwave. He is REALLY excited to be making this on his own with very little help and that he can share a recipe with me that I have never made.
He was so very proud of himself as he should be, it was awesome!
He made Stew meat with rice and gravy, we also had salad to round out the meal. It is a really easy and yummy recipe. Definitely not for those looking to lose weight or worried about their cholesterol, but still yummy! lol

Ingredients:
2 tbs Olive Oil
1.5 lbs stew meat
Approx 1 cup flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
Rice (as much or whatever type your family likes)
Cream gravy (We used the pckg type from the grocery store)

Directions:
Cut the stew meat into bite size pieces and coat in the flour. Cover the bottom of the pan with the Olive oil and add the flour covered meat. Cover and cook until done, stirring occasionally. In the meantime make your rice and gravy (according to the pckg instructions). Then serve the stew meat and gravy over the rice.
