Full body case of Ringworm!
Today though I received a call from the school nurse that she has a low grade fever and of course has these weird red spots. Now she had the chicken pox vaccine yrs ago so I thought no way, but maybe she has the chicken pox? Either way I made her an appointment for after school so we could see what the issue was especially if it was causing a fever.
Turns out she is covered in ringworm!!!!!
Now I mean like everywhere except the bottoms of her arms and legs cause she has been scratching and moving it all over. Poor little thing I did not realize how much it had spread until I had to slather almost her whole little body in Dipropionate Cream.
Leave it to one of my kids to manage to get a full body case of Ringworm!
So I am off to wash all the blankets, sheets and stuffed animals as well as both the cats since they are the most likely carriers! FUN STUFF!!

March Movie Madness
I am starting to have a love affair with Redbox! You know the big red kiosk's you see outside of grocery stores and fast food chains that rent you movies for $1 until 9pm the next evening. We used it for the first time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the ease of the whole process. We have a location literally around the corner from our house so it is just as easy as our Netflix account is to retrieve from the mailbox. When we signed up we recieved a free rental code to use the next time we rented a movie and it has no expiration date! WOOHOO! Ok so that last sentence may seem silly, but I hate expiration dates they are a huge PITA!
So Monday I received this in an email from them:
"It's March Movie Madness for redbox, so get in the game… on Wednesdays! Visit redblog every Wednesday in March for your Free Movie Wednesday code. Then visit your local redbox kiosk for your FREE 1 NIGHT's RENTAL."
I mean seriously could it get any better! You and I can now receive a free rental from Redbox every Wednesday this month just go to Redblog and look for the post with the free code.
Also if you would like more freebies go to Redblog and Sign up for Free Movie Mondays with redbox SMS alerts and get a free code sent to your mobile phone every Monday!

Learning how to jump the rope
When she gets something in her mind that she wants to do she is so determined to make it happen. It can be a frustrating quality at times for me as her mother, but I know it will be a quality that I am glad she has in the future.
When she first started practicing this afternoon she was only able to do two jumps at a time without a mess up. Well the boy and I just went outside to watch her jump and she did NINE jumps in a row!!! She was so excited and it was just to cute to see her face all lit up with joy. :)
Tackle It Tuesday
My tackle for this week is the fireplace aka catch all. EVERYTHING ends up on the fireplace! I think it is partially due to the fact that we never use the fireplace, seriously we live in Texas we do not need a fireplace. lol Also the fireplace is in between the computer desks so anything that does not have a home finds it's way there..........So today it just had to be tackled and although there are still things on the fireplace they are well organized things on the fireplace!! lol
So here is the before pic:

Mom heads for Fort Benning with kids
A North Carolina woman who was recalled to the Army four years after being honorably discharged was driving nearly 400 miles and braving a Southeastern winter storm to report for duty Sunday, with her children by her side. Lisa Pagan was en route to Fort Benning, despite the snow, and said in a phone interview she hoped to reach the Georgia post by early evening.
"I know I'm on my way doing what I need to do," Pagan said. "But I'm a little nervous."
Pagan said she wasn't expected at Fort Benning at a specific time, other than to get there by the end of the day. She said road conditions weren't too bad, but the weather had slowed her down.
Pagan is among thousands of former service members who have left active duty since the Sept. 11 attacks, only to be recalled to service. She filed several appeals, arguing that because her husband travels for business, no one else can take care of her kids. All were rejected, leaving Pagan to choose between deploying to Iraq and abandoning her family, or refusing her orders and potentially facing charges.
Master Sgt. Keith O'Donnell, an Army spokesman in St. Louis, said earlier that the commander at Fort Benning will decide how to handle the situation.
"The Army tries to look at the whole picture and they definitely don't want to do anything that jeopardizes the family or jeopardizes the children," O'Donnell said. "At the same time, these are individuals who made obligations and commitments to the country."
Of the 25,000 individual ready reserve troops recalled since September 2001, more than 7,500 have been granted deferments or exemptions, O'Donnell said. About 1,000 have failed to report. O'Donnell most of those cases are still under investigation, while 360 soldiers have been separated from the Army either through "other than honorable" discharges or general discharges.
O'Donnell said Pagan isn't likely to face charges, since none of the individual ready reserve soldiers who have failed to report faced a court-martial.
Pagan's husband, Travis, is staying behind in their home in Davidson to continue his job.
"He's very supportive. He feels the same way I do," Pagan said. "He never thought I would be called back to begin with."
She said she has reserved a motel room for a week and didn't plan to stay in the barracks.
"I don't plan on them leaving my side once I'm there," she said of her kids. "Them being away from me is not an option."

Monday Morning Meme
Hi all, another week is just beginning and it is time for yet another weekly installment of the Monday Morning MeMe!! Karen asks the questions(in blue) and my answers follow(in black)!1. What is something that you forgot once, but will never forget again?
That you do not leave three little girls under the age of 8 downstairs with the chocolate fountain running while you go up to start the bathwater! lol
What happened when you forgot it?
I came downstairs five mins later to find Spunky's hands and the table totally covered in chocolate. All the while Princess and my youngest sister shoved more chocolate covered fruit into their mouths laughing with joy! The chocolate was dripped down the fronts of all three of them! lol
2. How do you handle hateful comments or emails?
Thankfully I have not actually come across this problem very often. I usually choose to ignore them unless I am in a particularly bad mood and then I will engage. I find that the block email address feature works very well in these cases if it gets to bad.
How do you handle someone who annoys you in real life?
I avoid them and if I cannot then I find any way possible to minimize the amount of time I have to spend with that person.
3. How often do you change the furniture around in your living room area?
Not very often probably once a year or less. The last time was over a year ago and I sort of wanna do it again soon.
How often do you rearrange other rooms in your house?
We moved in here almost two years ago and the bedrooms are all still the same as when we moved in. With the exception of the girls room and that is because we got a new dresser and had to move a few things around to make it all fit.
Tell us about the last time you rearranged a room - were you by yourself? Did you have help?
Yes I was all alone the last time I rearranged the living room. I decided to do it while everyone was out to make it easier on myself. lol
Was it a pleasant experience or did sparks fly? Were you satisfied with the end result?
It was pleasant and easy because no one else was here! WOOHOO! Yes I was very satisfied with the end result!
4. Is it better to never be married, or married badly and divorced?
I have been married badly and divorced and I would not wish that on anyone. I feel like no one should have to be in a bad marriage especially in this day and age we have options.
Why?
You do not have to be married to be in love and in an awesome relationship imo. Although you will not have the traditional marriage as others may like, I think that if that is ok with you than that is all that matters. If you are one that really wants or feels they need a marriage than I say go for it.
